History of the Biofloral Laboratory
In 1979, Ulrich Rampp, founder of Biofloral, arrived from Bavaria by bike and settled in Haute-Loire, in the heart of the countryside and the Auvergne juices, in a small wild and enchanted valley.
Letting himself be guided by the surrounding nature, an inexhaustible source of observation and inspiration, in 1999 he founded the Biofloral laboratory which is dedicated to the artisanal manufacture of natural remedies certified 100% ORGANIC, including the famous Swedish elixir, Nettle. Silica or even Bach Flowers.
Philosophy and sources of inspiration
For Biofloral, the symbiosis between man and nature is essential. If the ancients lived it on a daily basis, we have moved away from it over time. In order to find its imprint, and to soak it up again, Biofloral was inspired by various manuscripts of doctors from the Middle Ages to the present day, notably Hildegard of Bingen, Paracelsus and the famous Edward Bach . It is clear that these 3 precursors recognized in their time all claimed that health is a beautiful alchemy between the body, the mind and the soul.
However, Nature provides us with everything we need to achieve this.
Hildegard of Bingen (1098 – 1179)
Saint Hildegard of Bingen is considered the first herbalist
modern. Its recipes have been passed down from generation to generation. She prepared plants in wine with gentle and long maceration in order to
extract the most active ingredients.

Doctor Edward Bach (1886 - 1936)
At the beginning of the 20th century, this famous English homeopath devoted the last 10 years of his life to the study, recognition and manufacture of floral elixirs. He identified flowers in nature that respond favorably to difficult emotions.
He invites us on an extraordinary journey with nature, to discover
ourselves, through 38 flowers and buds: the Bach Flowers which will be
his life's work.

Location
Since our beginnings, we have occupied the same small valley located in the mountains of Auvergne , in the heart of strong and pure nature, charged with energy thanks to its altitude, its 300 million year old granite soil and its volcanic earth.
In accordance with our philosophy, we have also created, in the small valley which shelters us, Les Jardins d'Espaladous. It is an ecological residence allowing you to enjoy deep renewal and a reconnection with nature.
